Photography and Art
Nice images, I couldn’t get any here due to cloud cover. 😦 Mother nature continues to conspire against me.
sorry, hope you have clear skies next time.
Great photos! I could tell even before I checked that you must be from South America, since Jupiter was so much closer to the Moon in your photos than in the view from here in central North America. I was at work so I didn’t get any decent photos, but I did get a chance to look. People further south yet in your continent were treated to an occultation.
that’s correct, I’m in Bogotá, Colombia, and further south it was an occultation

those pictures were taken using prime focus on a ETX 125 Telescope and my NIKON D300 camera, manually focus and some work on gamma curve and some on the brightness curve.
The night was clear sky as one astronomer could wish.
I love these. I try to do the same kind of pictures, but I use an ETX 90 Telescope with my Canon t2i. Do you stack your pictures?
thanks, the pictures are prime focus, non stack, the only process I did was adjusting the gamma curve ( I made a mistake taking this pictures, they are only 2MP).
